Happy November everyone!
While the start of this month is a bit of a break from the end of summer and election season rush, we’re still busy as ever gearing up for the upcoming end-of-year holiday season (Christmas music is loading)~
Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate the pastors and their programs on our station last month for Pastor Appreciation Month! The pastors and program hosts are the voices that make Inspiration 1050, well, Inspiration 1050!
As a prelude to the season of Thanksgiving, we’re inviting all of our listeners to participate in a special week of thanksgiving. We’re asking anyone who is willing to leave a 30-second message about what they’re thankful for this season. Our Listener Line (Shout-Out Line) will be specifically collecting Thanksgiving messages between November 1st-13th. All messages received by the 13th will be compiled and aired from November 23-27th! To participate, simply call our Listener Line mailbox at (513)533-2512 and leave a 30-second message. Then, tune in to Inspiration 1050 AM / 103.1 FM for a chance to hear your message aired!

Friendly reminder to send in those free holiday events! While we ask for at least 2 weeks of notice prior to the start of an event, anyone is welcome to submit event details earlier. Sending in events earlier doesn’t always guarantee more announcement time, but more often than not, events do have a better chance and longer announcement duration than events sent in 2 weeks before or less. Plus, it allows us to plan ahead and fill any open announcement spots. As always, thank you to the churches and communities hosting these free events!
Speaking of Community Calendar, for those that may not have friends or family around, or an ability to buy or cook a Thanksgiving meal, FREE Thanksgiving Day dinners will be served to residents of the Greater Cincinnati Area on Thanksgiving Day at the Evanston Recreation Center.
