The event will be held again at New Prospect Baptist Church, 1580 Summit Rd.,
Cincinnati, Ohio 45237 from 7:00 a.m.-12 Noon. The theme for this event is: “Lifting
As We Climb”. In recognition of these senior veterans age 65 and older, there is a
full program including a special guest speaker and honoree: advocate for justice
and civil rights, Rev. Damon Lynch, Jr. , Pastor Emeritus of New Jerusalem Baptist
Church.
There will be a full hot breakfast to all attendees at no cost after the 21-gun salute
festivities. In addition, there will be a full program of speakers and honors to our
special guests. From Noon-2pm, resource information will be available for
Veterans, including representatives from the Veteran’s Administration.
This one-of-a-kind event in our city is something no African-American veteran in
the city should miss! We have space to accommodate 350 veterans and some seats
