As a public service to area churches and Christian organizations, Inspiration 1050 sets aside a certain amount of FREE air-time for announcement of events that are of interest to all our listeners. We provide free airtime to non-profit, individuals, and ministry organizations conducting free-entry events.

WHAT EVENTS QUALIFY?

*ALL EVENTS MUST BE FREE TO ATTEND

Not-for-profit organizations, churches, and ministries sponsoring programs or events that don’t fall into the categories listed above qualify for paid advertising. If interested, please call our office at (513)533-2500 for information on special low rates!

1. CHURCH & MINISTRY EVENTS

Celebrations, concerts, revivals,bible study groups, etc. (free-will offerings can be accepted)

2. COMMUNITY EVENTS

Events that provide free resources or experiences to the community (ex. health & wellness days, classes, food & item drives, concerts, etc.). 

3. COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENTS

Programs and services for which there is no cost for participation such as homeless shelters, pregnancy centers, or community improvement projects

4. EVENTS WITH FUNDRAISERS

We will announce non-profit fundraising opportunities so long as there is no cost to participate. Fundraising methods must be optional for all participants (ex. a free concert with an option to buy a fundraising T-shirt). 

Still unsure if your event qualifies?

The rule of thumb for a qualifying ‘free’ event is if the main activity / attraction is free admission (ex. a free concert, free class). Any purchases beyond the entrance must be optional and not required in order to participate in the main activity.
